About this trip

A route we've already taken — handed to you.

Chris & Bec spent two months mapping Sri Lanka across four years of full-time travel. Haz & Loz came along for a chunk of it. We kept the bits worth doing, threw out the bits that aren't, and got the boutique stays on lock.

You'll travel as a group of up to 20 with a hand-picked local guide who knows the route cold — eco-camp under the stars, surf at Hiriketiya, tea-country trains, Yala at sunrise. All the parts we'd hate for you to miss.

Trip duration 10 days

Chris & Bec

@salt.and.charcoal

Five years travelling full-time, 30+ countries, two months of it across Sri Lanka. Salt & Charcoal is where we documented all of it. This trip is the itinerary we'd write a friend — boutique stays, train tickets, and wildlife windows we wish we'd known about the first time.

Haz & Loz

@haz_and_loz

Harry and Lauren — Chris & Bec's longtime travel partners. Africa safaris, Southeast Asia beaches, the long way around Australia. We've travelled this exact route — this is what we'd do again, the second we landed.

From past travellers

"The best trip and group — like EVER :)"

Don't just take our word for it — here's what travellers said after our last group trip.

This was my first trip to Asia, and with a bunch of strangers. I'd honestly say it's the best trip I've been on — the people, the activities, the food, the locations — absolutely breath-taking.

From start to finish I think the trip was absolutely incredible, we have all bonded so much. The balance was perfect.

The group I got to share it with — so easy going, so open to life. It's changed the way I look at life and I can't thank them enough.
